Thatching/Power Raking
Power raking is the process of cutting swathes into the dead material of lawns to remove dead grass so the soil can breathe and the grass can grow more efficiently. This is a gentle process designed to tear out only the grass material at the surface of the soil. When we power rake in the spring, it doesn't create immediate results, but over time you will notice that your lawn comes back in the spring greener and thicker than it was in the past.
